We don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs in the local startup community, so we’re announcing a couple of upcoming Boston startup events.
Mass Innovation Nights 84
First up, Mass Innovation Night 84 is on March 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at District Hall. The theme is Civic Tech, highlighting 11 innovative products aimed at improving government infrastructure.
Mass Innovation Nights (MIN) began in 2009 as a way to promote home-grown innovative ideas. Each monthly MIN showcases 10 companies with innovative products to share. This is the second MIN event focusing on Civic Tech. Discover more about Mass Innovation Night here.
Innovation District Startup Social
We’re really excited about this one because, well, our Founder Chris Merrill is on the speaking panel to discuss starting your startup.
On March 10 from 6 to 9 p.m., Managed DevOps and Cloud Services company G2 Tech Group, the brains behind entrepreneurial innovation competition Boston’s Big IDEA, is hosting the casual Innovation District Startup Social so you can meet other Boston startup entrepreneurs.
Along with the food, drinks, music and startup networking that always draw us in, we’ll get our learn (and entertainment) on with an entrepreneurial panel of Boston’s Big IDEA sponsors, who will discuss Starting Your Business – Advice, War Stories and Community.
Here’s what Chris hopes new startup owners get out of his portion of the panel discussion: “Ohhhhh. Perspective of what really happens, the most important challenges to focus on, and that they start to build a personal filter for business advice from people like me.”
Bahahaha! Seriously, though, he and the other panelists have a ton of great startup advice to offer, so you won’t want to miss this one.
Also, have an innovative Boston startup? You can still easily sign up for the no-strings-attached Boston’s Big IDEA competition to win more than $50,000 in services to boost your biz and $5,000 in cash.
Share the Startup Love
Whether you can attend or not, we’d really appreciate it if you could help grow and support the Boston startup community by sharing these events.
We even made it super easy – just click to tweet!
